History

1997 – Founding of HAF Limited

HAF Consulting began as HAF Limited, founded by Mr. Dockter, Mr. Lee and Mr. Short (after jointly working on securing a GSM license and starting a GSM operator for USWEST and Motorola in Ukraine). HAF quickly grew as an international telecommunications consulting business focused on business development.

Soon after its establishment, HAF expanded its services both in terms of breadth (CATV triple play networks, internet, etc) and depth (optimization, audits of existing operations, etc). HAF quickly earned a reputation for the quality of expertise provided, the ability to “start immediately – on almost anything and almost anywhere” and an ability to work with the investment community to the benefit of both operators and investors.

2000 – Sale of HAF Limited

The three HAF partners sold HAF to o2 wireless solutions (NASDAQ); where the partners helped establish and lead the international wireless services team.

2002 – “Re-purchase of HAF”

The founding partners “re-purchased” HAF from o2 to form HAF Consulting Limited.

At that time the HAF partners also established an “equity group” to pursue under-valued wireless properties; adding to its ability to help clients find and pursue financially attractive properties.

Since “re-purchasing” HAF, the partners have invested heavily in improving its capabilities for clients. HAF has participated in the recovery of the telecommunications, entertainment and computing sectors.
