Business Case Development

HAF has developed a robust suite of computer models covering marketing, technical and financial areas. This enables us to develop business cases for any market or technology within the telecommunications, media and technology industries. HAF would typically provide a team of 3 consultants (market, technical, finance) to provide this service. However, any part of this service can be provided separately. Our business case development work is usually in support of M&A work, license acquisition or analysis and development of international investment portfolios.

License Acquistion

HAF can acquire telecommunications and media operating licenses through the process of beauty contest, sealed bid, auction or a combination of these approaches. HAF can provide a complete license acquisition team to create the strategic approach, business case and bid book for successfully securing operating licenses. HAF can either provide a turn-key service with the client merely providing review and sign-off or can integrate with a clients own teams as required. HAF has experience of both solicited and un-solicited applications.

Spectrum Auction Strategy, Tactics and Participation

HAF Consulting has extensive experience in developing effective strategies and tactics related to telecommunication spectrum auctions. Additionally, HAF has helped its clients implement those strategies and tactics in the associated spectrum auctions.

Business Start-Up

HAF can provide interim directors for the start-up of a telecommunications, media or technology venture including CEO, CTO, CMO and CFO. If required, HAF can also provide senior project managers or an entire project management office (PMO). We can also provide senior level interim staff within the start-up operation in all departments.

Within the network roll-out function, we can provide senior consultants across the entire roll-out process. We can provide a complete network planning and optimization service.

We can manage the process of fund raising and financing for a start-up operation including the due diligence required for release of tranches of financing into the business.

Project Management

Project Management is inherent in all HAF Consulting projects for successful project execution and client satisfaction. However, we also have dedicated, accredited project managers on our team who are assigned on pure project management assignments for clients. Our project managers work to either PRINCE2 or PMBOK practices and have experience of working within matrix, cross-functional corporate structures. Our project managers can be assigned to manage complex projects from launch of an entire new business (a full Project Management Office – PMO) through delivery of new products and services or changes in strategic direction within an organisation.
